Career Journey
Ruhella is a personal development coach who has 8 years of experience of working in mental health where she had roles in management and support. She is motivated by helping people who are from a disadvantaged background or are going through difficult circumstances.
Ruhella previously worked for Creative Support, a not-for-profit charity organisation that helped women who have been diagnosed with a mental health illness as well as ex-offenders during the course of their rehabilitation. It was during her time at Creative Support that she realised that her deepest passion was to empower women, and the most effective way to do that is to lead by example.
After taking a career break to focus on herself and her family, she decided to start her own business and founded Mona Living, a unisex vegan skincare brand that is free from harsh chemicals and animal-based products. Mona Living was born to help people feel confident without feeling guilty.
Ruhella also founded Boss Women, a magazine that centred around inspiring women. Boss Women is a platform for leading women to share their personal success stories. The magazine featured Hanna Miraftab, star of The Real Housewives of Cheshire, Dr Erinma Bell MBE, renowned peace activist, and Misba Khan, a member of The Women’s Euro-Arabian North Pole Expedition team.
Ruhella has a keen interest in fashion, lifestyle, health & fitness and networking.
