Mustafa Rashid is an e-Commerce veteran with over 10 years of experience. He amassed an extremely diverse portfolio where he has worked with companies in B2B, home furnishing, hospitality, health & beauty, fashion, film & media and jewellery. He has helped these e-Commerce brands from product concept, branding, design to setting up the product inventory and played a pivotal role in generating traffic, sales and revenue.
Mustafa also took the lead in multiple email marketing campaigns to help brands with customer retention. This included product launches, product recommendations, blog post distribution and promoting flash sales. In addition, he also fronted various sponsored Facebook and Instagram campaigns, including re-targeting campaigns.
From a very early age, Mustafa developed a keen interest in computing and went on to complete a BSc degree in Multimedia & Internet Technology where he became familiar with a range of programming and mastered his skills in the complete Adobe Suite. But his passion for e-Commerce emerged when he created an e-commerce store for his family’s diamond jewellery business, utilising his diverse skills in IT and Media and unlocking a new generation of clientele.
Mustafa believes that simplicity is the key to a successful e-Commerce store and the journey from product discovery to completing the transaction should be as streamlined as possible to make for a memorable customer experience.
